When we arrived in Atlanta, Georgia on Thursday the weather was rather cool with rain in the forecast. A rain out of qualifying day would not surprise us because it seems to always rain in Atlanta at some point during our visit on race weekends. There was a glimmer of hope on Friday when the misty rain stopped for a while and the “Jet Dryers” got the track dry just long enough for a very short practice. We got in a few valuable laps during a couple of runs before the cold rain came again and the day was a washout. We were to once again start by points. It is really disappointing when qualifying gets rained out because we put a lot of effort into qualifying set-ups and preparing the car as light as possible. But we must keep working to do the best we can. I apologize for the delay the last couple of weeks on the blogs, I guess it has affected me too. Read all of Talladega and Charlotte

What an up and down weekend this was! The car was really good but the way things had been, we only wanted a solid top 15 lap to get a good starting spot for Sunday. Read all of The Highs and Lows in Kansas City
