Green - Start/Restart
Indicates the start of a race or a restart after a caution period. |

Red - Stop
Indicates a complete race stoppage due to an unsafe condition. |

Yellow - Caution, Slow and Hold
Position indicates unsafe driving conditions on the track. Drivers must slow down, drive with caution and hold their relative position. No passing is allowed "under yellow" but drivers may close the field behind the leader. |

White - Last Lap
Indicates to the drivers that they are entering the last lap of the race. In a road course race, the white flag may be used to indicate that an emergency vehicle is on the track. |

Blue with Yellow Stripe -
Move into Another Lane
Indicates that the signaled car is being overtaken by a faster car and that the signaled car should give consideration to the overtaking car. |

Indicates that the signaled car must go immediately to the pit area for consultation. A driver who ignores a black flag will have scoring discontinued. |
