Juan Pablo Montoya did what everyone knew he would do, return the black and red Texaco/Havoline Dodge to victory lane. Despite being a rookie to stock cars, Montoya wore his Texaco/Havoline firesuit to victory lane three times, in three different series, in 2007. He took the checkered flag at the prestigious Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona, the Nationwide Series race in Mexico City and the road course event in the Sprint Cup Series at Infineon Raceway. He earned Sprint Cup Raybestos Rookie of the Year honors, becoming the fourth driver for Texaco/Havoline to earn the first year trophy.
